Our most recent McDonald's Moms' Quality Correspondents trip focused on McDonald's commitment to families and the shared family moments provided through McDonald's partnerships. This trip allowed the Moms to see first-hand how an idea for a McDonald's Happy Meal Toy comes to life and how the toys are inspired by characters families love.

Corinne Over the past two years as a McDonald's Moms' Quality Correspondent, our visits have been all about the quality of food we experience at McDonald's. When I got the call in early 2010 that our next trip was to be a visit to The Marketing Store in Chicago and DreamWorks Studios in Los Angeles I was both intrigued and excited!

Laura So here we are in Chicago, again, investigating behind the scenes at McDonald's! On this trip to Chicago we visited The Marketing Store. We got to see the process of creating ideas for toys and bringing them to life! As always, it is a tiring task but always well worth it.

Naomi In Chicago, we started our Happy Meal journey at The Marketing Store. The Marketing Store boardroom table showed us the evolution of the Happy Meal, starting from the first one that contained Tonka Toy trucks for boys and Cabbage Patch kids for girls. Around the room were different and rare Happy Meal toy collections. The Marketing Store had every one of the 101 Dalmatians and a very rare, Inspector Gadget. I really wanted the cool Inspector Gadget, which I later learned was one of only four left in the world.
